Beyond composing, Sheldon co-authored Sound Innovations for Concert Band, shaping how countless students encounter their instruments and develop foundational musicianship.
His calendar fills with commissions, guest conducting posts at All-State and Regional Honor Bands, and clinician appearances across the United States and abroad. He has worked in Japan, Canada, Italy, Germany, Australia, and China, and his music has sounded in some of the world's most prestigious venues: Carnegie Hall, Orchestra Hall, Boston's Symphony Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the Kennedy Center.
