Andrew H. Dabczynski is Emeritus Professor of Music Education at Brigham Young University, where he founded the BYU New Horizons Orchestra for beginning adult string players. His work there became a laboratory for string teacher training, and he earned BYU's Joseph E. White Fellowship for Teaching and Learning. He brings that foundation expertise to String Explorer at every level.

Richard Meyer spent 35 years teaching strings in public schools, with 22 of those years directing orchestras at Oak Avenue Intermediate School in Temple City, California. He grew that program from 29 to 200 students and later implemented districtwide elementary string instruction. His background in building large group programs directly shaped the teaching philosophy in String Explorer.

Bob Phillips is an innovator in string pedagogy who has authored over 25 book series for classroom use, including all six levels of Sound Innovations. He specializes in large group teaching methods and diverse musical styles for strings, and his work reaches thousands of student musicians every year.
