Robert Sheldon stands among today's most frequently performed composers of wind band repertoire. He is the lead author of Sound Innovations for Concert Band and has received prestigious awards from the American School Band Director's Association, Phi Beta Mu, and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. His compositions connect with performers and listeners through their expressive depth and artistic merit.
Sheldon's works appear on concert and contest programs internationally and continue to gain worldwide recognition. He maintains an active commission schedule while producing numerous publications for concert band annually.
