Sound Innovations: Sound Percussion

Dave Black is a percussionist and composer who studied percussion performance at California State University, Northridge and has traveled internationally performing and recording with established entertainers and touring shows. His prolific output includes more than 60 published compositions and arrangements with major music publishers, many of which have been recorded, and his Snare Drum/Bass Drum method book has become the most widely adopted title in this series.

Chris Bernotas is co-author of the Sound Percussion method series alongside Dave Black, bringing additional pedagogical expertise to these core instructional texts.
