Composer Spotlight
Jay Althouse brings eight years of publishing industry experience and a catalog of more than 800 choral works to his arrangements. His pedagogical grounding in music education shows in how his pieces balance cultural authenticity with accessibility for student singers.
Ruth Morris Gray directs choirs at Rosemead High School in California and holds degrees in both piano performance and music composition from Biola University and UC Santa Barbara. Her more than 100 published pieces reflect her hands-on understanding of what high school choirs need.
Greg Gilpin earned ASCAP awards and conducts at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Sydney Opera House. His arrangements of world music bring the polish and cultural respect of a seasoned professional conductor to the classroom.
Sally K. Albrecht has published over 600 choral works and is particularly known for integrating movement and staging into her compositions. An ASCAP award recipient since 1987, she has led honor choirs at festivals including those at Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center.
