JaRod Hall is a Texas-based composer and 8-year veteran band director who studied at the University of North Texas and Texas State University under conducting faculty including Dr. Nicholas Williams and Dr. Caroline Beatty. His background as both educator and performer informs every piece he writes; Tripwire demonstrates his gift for creating engaging concert music that doesn't talk down to young musicians. Hall accounts for the entire collection of 105 titles, giving teachers a rare opportunity to work deeply with a single composer's voice across multiple grade levels.

Brian Balmages appears in this collection alongside Hall's work.
