Description
Whispers of Avalon, by Everett C. Davis, transports us to Avalon, the legendary island of magic and mystery. Everett C. Davis

Everett C. Davis discovered his compositional voice while immersed in the musical traditions of the Pacific Northwest. A French horn player and conductor trained at the University of Oregon, he has spent his career building programs and mentoring young musicians at the middle school level while maintaining an active performance schedule with regional ensembles in Eugene, Oregon.

Davis brings both pedagogical insight and artistic depth to his writing. His experience conducting student orchestras and teaching band and choir informs his approach to composition; he writes with a clear understanding of what intermediate musicians can achieve and what will inspire them. In fall 2025, he begins graduate studies in music education at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, continuing his commitment to expanding music's reach in students' lives.
