Her compositional output exceeds 100 published works for choir, reflecting a deep commitment to creating accessible and engaging literature for student ensembles. Gray holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance and Composition from Biola University and a Master of Arts degree in Music Composition from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She earned her California Single Subject Music Credential at California State University, Northridge.

Beyond the rehearsal room, Gray is an active performer and educator who brings her varied interests in travel, literature, and outdoor pursuits into her artistic life.
