About the Composer: Cooper Ford

Cooper Ford grew up in Chatham, New Jersey, where he started violin and trumpet in school music programs and developed his composing voice with encouragement from his teachers. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Music in Music Education from the University of Florida. Ford currently directs orchestra at North Brunswick Township High School in New Jersey and teaches Music Production there as well. He has served on the conducting staff of the New Jersey Youth Symphony, working with elementary and middle school students, and remains active as a guest conductor and clinician. He holds membership in both the American String Teachers Association and the National Association for Music Education.
