Tyler S. Grant

Tyler S. Grant has built a distinctive voice in contemporary instrumental music through commissions, publications, and clinic work spanning more than a decade. His compositions are heard regularly at honor ensemble festivals and state competitions across North America, and his works have graced stages from Carnegie Hall to the Meyerson Symphony Center. He brings equal expertise as a conductor and clinician, having worked with over 100 school programs across multiple states.

A University of Alabama graduate in instrumental music education, Grant studied conducting with Professor Randall Coleman and credits mentor Brian Balmages as essential to his compositional development. Beyond composing and arranging, he contributes to music education through published ensemble development materials and appearances at regional and national conferences. His work Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 Call for Fanfares Competition and has since been performed by collegiate and professional ensembles throughout North America.
