Melody Bober brings twenty years of public school teaching experience and additional university-level instruction into every piece she writes. She earned her bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (summa cum laude) and her Master of Arts in piano performance from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, studying under accomplished mentors including Joel Shapiro, Andrew Froelich, Mary Hoffman, and Tony Caramia.

Beyond her private studio teaching in Minnesota, Bober serves as an active church pianist, accompanist, and former music director. She is a sought-after clinician at piano teacher conventions and workshops throughout North America, known for bringing fresh compositional ideas that engage students and deepen their musical understanding.
