Robert T. Gibson

Robert T. Gibson brings decades of experience as a conductor, clinician, and composer to his work across secondary schools, universities, and faith communities. Educated at the University of North Texas and Missouri State University, he has shaped choirs at every level while guest conducting across Texas, Missouri, and beyond. His arrangements and original compositions have reached significant platforms, including performances by the Texas All-State Tenor Bass Choir and the Missouri Summer All-State Choir.

Gibson's commitment to developing young musicians and strengthening his community earned him the 2022 NAACP Trailblazer Award and a mayoral proclamation designating June 9 as Robert T. Gibson Day in Springfield, Missouri. His choral works appear through major publishers including Alfred Publications and Walton Music. He holds membership in Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and Phi Kappa Lambda National Honor Society.
