Donald Moore earned his Bachelor of Music in organ performance and Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University. He has served as Organist-Choirmaster at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and maintains an extensive catalog of over 500 published works across sacred, secular, educational, and pop choral repertoire distributed through Alfred Music Publishing, Hal Leonard, Heritage Music Press, and other major publishers.
Moore's compositions are staples at state contests and festivals nationwide and have been presented at state, regional, national, and international music conventions. He has received the ASCAP Composers Standard Award seventeen times and was recognized by the American Choral Directors Association as one of 400 elite composers of historical significance in American choral music.
