Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has composed and arranged over 450 choral works, vocal resources, and children's musicals that are performed by singers across the globe. Beyond his prolific output, he serves as a guest conductor, choreographer, adjudicator, and clinician for music educators nationwide, with recent commissions and conducting engagements from honor choirs and all-state groups throughout the Southeast.

Beck holds degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University. He has contributed substantially to choral pedagogy through resources like Sing at First Sight and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique. As both a tenor and director of musical theatre, Beck brings practical performance experience to his writing and has been an Alfred Music studio singer since 1992.
