About the Arranger: Sally K. Albrecht
Sally K. Albrecht has shaped American choral music for over three decades, first as Director of School Choral, Vocal, and Elementary Publications at Alfred Music and continuing as a prolific composer and arranger with more than 600 published works. Her influence extends across the country through clinician residencies at major venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and The Kennedy Center, and she has been recognized annually by ASCAP for her contributions to music since 1987.
Albrecht earned her B.A. from Rollins College in Music and Theater, then completed both an M.A. in Drama and an M.M. in Accompanying at the University of Miami. Her work is particularly celebrated for integrating movement with choral singing, a distinctive approach reflected throughout her catalog. She has taught at Oakland University, Jersey City State College, and Meredith College, and in 2021 received the Distinguished Alumna Award from both the University of Miami Frost School of Music and Rollins College.
