About the Composer: Earl J. Fox, Jr.

Earl J. Fox, Jr. grew up in New Orleans and earned degrees in music education from the University of Southern Mississippi before completing his doctorate at Louisiana State University. His twenty-year teaching career in the Orleans Parish School System included leadership roles at Capdau Junior High and Abramson Senior High School, followed by positions at Holy Cross School and currently at South Side Elementary School in Picayune, Mississippi.

Beyond the classroom, Fox has established himself as an active clinician, festival adjudicator, and prolific arranger whose work has been performed across the United States and internationally, including commissions for Marching Band Sampoerna in Jakarta, Indonesia. He holds National Board Certification and maintains memberships in ASCAP, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
