About the Composer: Earl J. Fox
Earl J. Fox grew up in New Orleans and earned degrees in music education from the University of Southern Mississippi before completing his doctorate at Louisiana State University. He spent two decades directing bands in the Orleans Parish School System, including tenures at Capdau Junior High and Abramson Senior High School, and has held positions at Holy Cross School and South Side Elementary School in Picayune, Mississippi, where he currently teaches.
Fox brings deep festival and adjudication experience to his compositional work, having served as guest clinician and conductor for honor bands across multiple states. His arrangements and original compositions have been performed nationally and internationally, including work with Marching Band Sampoerna in Jakarta, Indonesia. He holds National Board Certification and maintains active membership in ASCAP, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
