Tyler S. Grant has established himself as a prolific voice in contemporary band music through decades of commissions, publications, and performances at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, The Midwest Clinic, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. His compositions regularly appear on state and national honor ensemble programs, and his fanfare Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 "Call for Fanfares" Competition before being adopted by collegiate and professional ensembles across North America.

Beyond the composer's desk, Grant conducts clinics with school programs and honor groups nationwide and has contributed to instructional resources including Alfred Music's Sound Innovations series. He earned his degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Randall Coleman, and continues to bring both compositional craft and teaching experience to his work with ensembles at all levels.
