About the Composer: Andy Beck
Andy Beck leads choral publications at Alfred Music, where he has developed a catalog of over 450 choral compositions and arrangements. His work spans concert music, vocal resources, and children's musicals, and his pieces are performed by choirs worldwide. Beyond his prolific writing, Beck serves as a guest conductor, choreographer, adjudicator, and clinician at honor choirs and all-state festivals across the United States and internationally.
A trained tenor and music educator, Beck holds degrees in music education from Ithaca College and Northwest Missouri State University. He has directed musical theatre, sung with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir, and been an Alfred studio singer since 1992. His pedagogical commitments shape everything from his published compositions to the choral sight-singing and vocal technique resources he has authored.
