About the Composer: Vicki Tucker Courtney

Vicki Tucker Courtney began piano studies at age four and pursued formal training through North Texas State University, where she deepened her choral skills through accompanying work. Her prolific career now spans composition and arrangement across multiple genres and ensembles, including choirs, piano, handbells, and vocal soloists. She has earned repeated ASCAP Plus Awards recognition and studied composition mentorship under Dove Award winner Mark Hayes in 2002 and 2004.

Courtney has built an extensive catalog of published works, surpassing 350 titles since her 100th publication in 2009. In addition to composing and arranging, she maintains an active teaching practice with piano and composition students of all ages and continues to perform in both traditional and contemporary church settings. She resides in Columbia, Tennessee.
