Jack Bullock

Jack Bullock brings decades of practical music-making experience to his arranging work. A accomplished trumpet performer who has played with the Miami Philharmonic Orchestra, Miami Opera Company, and professional touring ensembles, he understands instrumental writing from a player's perspective. He holds degrees in Music Education through the doctoral level and spent 20 years teaching instrumental music in schools, including seven years at Ithaca College's School of Music where he served as assistant band director and later chaired the Music Education Department.

Bullock's output as a composer and arranger spans over 600 publications across concert band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and marching band contexts. He co-authored the Belwin 21st Century Band Method and contributed arrangements to Music Expressions, Alfred Music's comprehensive school curriculum. His work has earned recognition through ASCAP membership since 1980 and inclusion in Who's Who in Entertainment and Media and Communications.
