Scott Watson spent 35 years in the Parkland School District (Allentown, PA) building instrumental programs from the ground up, first as high school Director of Bands and then as coordinator of the elementary and strings offerings across the district. Now an Associate Professor of Music at Cairn University, Watson brings that deep classroom experience into his compositional voice, which spans more than 120 published works for concert band, string orchestra, and chamber ensembles at every level.

His music has traveled from the Academy of Music in Philadelphia to the White House, and his work as a clinician and guest conductor keeps him connected to the realities of student musicians and working directors.
