About the Composer: Rossano Galante

Rossano Galante earned his Bachelor of Arts in Trumpet Performance from SUNY Buffalo in 1992, then secured one of nineteen spots in USC's prestigious Film Scoring Program that same year. There he studied under the legendary Jerry Goldsmith, Academy Award winner for The Omen, launching a career that would span Hollywood orchestration and concert music composition.

For over two decades, Galante has worked as orchestrator and composer on more than eighty studio films, collaborating with Oscar-nominated composers Marco Beltrami, Christophe Beck, and Brian Tyler on projects ranging from major franchises to intimate dramas. His concert band and orchestra commissions have established him as a prolific voice in the field, with more than 68 published works across leading publishers including Alfred, Schirmer, and Curnow Music.
