About the Composer: Rossano Galante

Rossano Galante grew up in Buffalo, New York, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Trumpet Performance from SUNY Buffalo in 1992. That same year, he was selected as one of nineteen applicants worldwide to enter the University of Southern California's Film Scoring Program, where he studied under the legendary Jerry Goldsmith, Academy Award winner for The Omen.

Since relocating to California in 1999, Galante has established himself as a sought-after orchestrator and composer working across film and concert music. He has served as orchestrator on over eighty studio films, collaborating with two-time Oscar-nominated composer Marco Beltrami and other major composers including Christophe Beck, Brian Tyler, and Christopher Lennertz. His film credits span blockbuster franchises (Avengers, Fast X, A Quiet Place series, Venom), horror (The Nun 2, Renfield), and adaptations (The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning). His concert music has earned commissions from bands and orchestras worldwide, resulting in over 68 published compositions released through Alfred, Schirmer, Hafabra, C.L. Barnhouse, Musikverlag Frank, and Dehaske/Curnow.
