Teachers keep coming back to Bluey: First Ever Piano Book by Joff Bush and What It Sounds Like by Jenna Andrews, both popular choices for studio and classroom settings. John Williams' Harry Potter Foundations for concert band and Brian Balmages' string and band arrangements round out the core titles educators are buying.

Brian Balmages has released companion pieces for string orchestra and concert band titled The Gift of Giving. Benson Boone's Mystical Magical joins the collection as an SATB choral octavo, and Lang Lang's Piano Book 2 recently arrived for solo pianists at the intermediate level.

Brian Balmages is a composer and conductor equally at home in orchestral, band, and chamber music. His work spans professional venues like Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center down to elementary school performances. He's a recipient of the A. Austin Harding Award from the American School Band Directors Association, and his recent releases The Gift of Giving are available in both string orchestra and concert band versions.

Michael Kamuf holds degrees in both jazz performance and music education from Youngstown State University, plus a master's in instrumental conducting from George Mason University. His compositions and arrangements have been performed by the Woody Herman Orchestra, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the USAF Airmen of Note, and soloists including James Moody and Eddie Daniels. His work appears here in string orchestra settings.
