Mark Williams was a defining voice in school band composition and co-authored the Accent on Achievement Band Method. Over his career he published more than 200 works for young ensembles and traveled as clinician and guest conductor across 34 states, five Canadian provinces, and Australia. His approach to accessible, musically substantive writing for developing musicians shaped how many teachers think about arranging for concert band.
