His works have been performed at Carnegie Hall, The Midwest Clinic, and the Meyerson Symphony Center, with his fanfare Panoramic Fanfare earning top honors in the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 competition and subsequent performances by collegiate and professional ensembles across North America.

Since 2010, Grant has maintained a steady output of commissions and new publications while also serving as a clinician for over 100 school programs across more than 15 states. He holds a degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama and credits mentor Brian Balmages as essential to his development. Beyond composing, Grant regularly conducts at state and all-state festivals and has contributed writing to School Band & Orchestra Magazine and The Instrumentalist.
