About the Composer: Tyler S. Grant

Tyler S. Grant brings decades of commissioning and publication experience to his work across concert bands, orchestras, and chamber ensembles. His compositions appear regularly on honor ensemble programs and have earned recognition through major competitions, including a 2014 win at the Dallas Wind Symphony's "Call for Fanfares" Competition. His piece Panoramic Fanfare has since been performed by collegiate and professional ensembles across North America.

Beyond the composing desk, Grant actively conducts and presents clinics with school instrumental programs throughout the United States, having worked with over 100 ensembles across 15 states. He earned his bachelor's degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Professor Randall Coleman. His contributions to music education extend to authoring ensemble development materials for Alfred Music and writing for publications including School Band & Orchestra Magazine and The Instrumentalist.
