• Let the stream flow naturally in the second movement by maintaining consistent phrase shape rather than phrasing mechanically between breaths.
• Attack the opening of A Rugged Mountain with conviction; the character piece depends on confident, grounded sound production from all three players.

Program all three movements as a complete suite on a chamber recital or concert, or use individual movements to open different sections of a larger saxophone ensemble concert. The variety across movements makes the full piece a natural standalone work.
