About the Composer: Douglas E. Wagner

Douglas E. Wagner grew up in Chicago and earned degrees in music from Butler University before spending three decades teaching and administering music programs at the high school level. Since 1973, he has composed and arranged over 3,500 works across choirs, concert bands, orchestras, handbells, organ, piano, and voice; his music has sold more than seventeen million copies and traveled from American concert halls to stages and broadcasts worldwide.

Wagner now works full-time as a composer from Indianapolis, where he continues to write music that serves the practical needs of school and church musicians while maintaining genuine artistic depth.
