Donald Moore earned a Bachelor of Music in organ performance and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University. He serves as Organist-Choirmaster at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and has established himself as a prolific composer and arranger across multiple genres and mediums.

With over 500 published works spanning sacred and secular choral music, educational compositions, organ and piano pieces, and instructional books, Moore's output has become a fixture at state contests, regional festivals, and national music conventions. A seventeen-time ASCAP Composers Standard Award winner, he was recently recognized by the American Choral Directors Association Choral Journal as one of 400 historically significant American choral composers.
