Kim Williams

Kim Williams earned degrees in Religion and Piano Pedagogy from Oklahoma City University, where she discovered her passion for composition through study with one of the institution's faculty composers. Her first published work appeared in 1998, launching a composing career alongside her teaching work. She served as coordinator of group piano at the University of Central Oklahoma for over three years before establishing her private studio.

Williams remains deeply embedded in music education and professional service. She directs a summer composition piano camp for her students, presents composition workshops to local music associations, and maintains active membership in Music Teacher's National Association and the Oklahoma Music Teacher's Association, where she has held leadership roles. Her published works with Alfred include piano solos and choral compositions, all written with the intention of creating music that resonates meaningfully with students.
