About the Composer: Christopher Fox

Christopher Fox directs the chorus program at Glenelg High School in Howard County, Maryland, where he has built a reputation for commissioning and composing engaging music for young singers. A prolific and sought-after clinician, he has contributed to more than one hundred choral projects over the past decade, earning multiple Editor's Choice recognitions from major publishers including Alfred Music, Hal Leonard, and Santa Barbara Music Press.

Fox holds degrees in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and in Education from Loyola University Maryland, where he completed his Kodály certification through The American Kodály Institute. He has served as adjunct faculty in theatre at the University of Mary Washington and received the Teacher of the Year award twice. His commissions span prestigious ensembles including the VCDA Junior All-State Treble Choir, Penn State University choirs, and multiple district honors groups across the Tri-State region.
