Carl Strommen has built a career as one of the most widely performed composer-arrangers across band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, and choral settings. His music appears consistently in concert halls, on television, and in film productions, while his work as a clinician and commission writer keeps him connected to ensembles nationwide and internationally.

A City College of New York graduate, Strommen maintains strong ties to music education through his position as adjunct professor of orchestration and composition at Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus. His prolific output has earned him repeated recognition with ASCAP's Standard Writers Award. He resides on Long Island and spends significant time with family in Colorado.
