About the Arranger: Glenda Franklin

Glenda Franklin brings four decades of music education experience to her compositional work, having taught middle and high school choir in Georgia public and private schools while maintaining an active private studio teaching piano, voice, and organ. Her deep involvement in the state's choral community spans conducting and adjudicating district and state honor choruses, Georgia All-State Chorus, and large group performance evaluations. Franklin holds degrees from Brenau University and Piedmont College and has been recognized as South Habersham Middle School Teacher of the Year twice, in 1999 and 2009.

Franklin's music appears with major publishers including Alfred Music, Carl Fischer, Shawnee Press, and Chorister's Guild. Twenty-two of her compositions currently appear on Georgia's Large Group Performance Evaluation required music list, and her work has been selected for state and festival programs across multiple states. She maintains membership in NAfME, GMEA, ASCAP, and several honor societies for educators.
