Mier's credentials run deep: she holds certification through the Music Teachers National Association, Florida State Music Teachers Association, and National Guild of Piano Teachers. Her experience ranges from maintaining a private piano studio in Lake City, Florida, to serving as a frequent clinician and adjudicator at major conferences including the Music Teachers National Association Conference, World Piano Pedagogy Conference, and state conventions. She graduated from Florida State University, where she was inducted into Sigma Alpha Iota, the national music honor fraternity.
