As the Master of Ceremonies, the ringmaster was decked out in a bright red tailcoat trimmed in gold and a black top hat. Their job was to direct the audience's attention to the various rings where the acts took place, sometimes interact with the clowns, and build excitement for the next act. About the Composer: Jon Bubbett

Jon Bubbett brings four decades of teaching experience to his compositional work, having spent 26 of those years directing the band program at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. His contributions to music education earned him six NBA Citations of Excellence and the Phi Beta Mu Rho Chapter "Bandmaster of the Year" Award in 2015. Since retiring from full-time teaching, he has remained deeply engaged as a clinician, composer, and adjudicator throughout the Southeast.

Bubbett's publishing catalog spans multiple publishers including Belwin, Eighth Note Publishing, RWS Music, and others, reflecting his sustained commitment to creating repertoire for bands and ensembles. He actively conducts the Celebration Winds Community Concert Band and maintains memberships in the National Association for Music Education, National Band Association, Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity, and ASCAP.
