About the Composer: Andy Beck
Andy Beck directs choral publications at Alfred Music and has composed and arranged more than 450 choral works now in active circulation. His catalog spans vocal resources, children's musicals, and foundational sight-singing materials including Sing at First Sight and Vocalize! 45 Vocal Warm-Ups That Teach Technique. A tenor vocalist himself, he has performed with the North Carolina Master Chorale Chamber Choir and worked as an Alfred Music studio singer since 1992.
Beyond the page, Beck is a sought-after guest conductor, choreographer, adjudicator, and clinician across the United States and internationally. He has served as commissioned composer and guest conductor for honor choirs and all-state ensembles throughout the Southeast. His education includes a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Ithaca College and a Master's degree in Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University, grounding his deep commitment to music literacy and choral artistry.
