The Alice Jordan Collection of Hymn Tunes for Organ, Volume 1

THE ALICE JORDAN COLLECTION OF HYMN TUNES FOR ORGAN contains a wide variety of accessible organ voluntaries, including arrangements of some of the loveliest hymn tunes for general service playing and for possible wedding use. Some carry associations especially appropriate for funerals, memorial services, communion and there's one for baptisms. Seasonal pieces for Thanksgiving, Lent, and Easter are included along with two in processional style. There are also three settings of familiar melodies from a 20th Century Catholic mass and a piece based upon a beautiful hymn tune from the Christian Science tradition.
