About the Arranger: Brian Beck

Brian Beck is a composer and arranger whose works appear on prescribed music lists across Texas, Ohio, Florida, and the Pacific Northwest. His pieces have received recognition from The Instrumentalist, J.W. Pepper, and Tom Lee Music, and have been featured in the GIA Publications series Teaching Music Through Performance In Band. Beck holds degrees in music education from Texas A&M University-Commerce and the University of Houston and has directed bands at both the middle and high school levels in Texas, earning consistent Superior ratings at UIL contests and leading ensembles to state honor band competitions and regional clinic performances.

Beyond the concert hall, Beck has served as a clinician for instrumental and vocal ensembles throughout the Midwest and Southwest. His work as an educator has shaped his compositional voice: he understands what motivates student musicians and how to craft arrangements that challenge without overwhelming.
