Rossano Galante studied trumpet performance at SUNY Buffalo before being selected for the University of Southern California's prestigious Film Scoring Program in 1992, where he worked under the mentorship of Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith. Since relocating to California in 1999, Galante has established himself as a prolific orchestrator and composer, collaborating with Oscar-nominated film composers and contributing orchestration to more than eighty studio films spanning action, animation, and horror genres.

Beyond his extensive film work, Galante maintains an active presence in concert music, receiving commissions from orchestras and concert bands worldwide.
