At this level, you're teaching students who have genuine facility on the instrument and can handle the musical demands of substantial repertoire. Volume 7 maintains the method's signature strength: every piece serves a pedagogical purpose while remaining musically rewarding, so students stay motivated even as technical requirements climb.

Volume 7 opens up the full range of classical violin writing. Students encounter pieces that demand sophistication in tone production, expressive vibrato, complex rhythmic figures, and sustained musical line. The repertoire feels substantial now, not like etudes in disguise.

Students who have completed Volumes 1 through 6 and are ready to explore the standard violin repertoire with growing independence. These musicians typically have strong fundamental technique and are beginning to make meaningful interpretive choices.
