Russell Robinson

Russell Robinson's career spans decades as both an educator and creative musician. As Emeritus Professor of Music Education at the University of Florida, he has conducted and presented at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center, while also working with honor choirs and all-state ensembles across six continents.

With more than 500 publications to his name, Robinson has established himself as a prolific composer and arranger whose choral works and instructional materials serve music programs nationwide. His leadership roles have included President of the Florida Music Educators Association and National Collegiate Chair for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). In 2016, he was inducted into the FMEA Hall of Fame in recognition of his sustained contributions to music education.
