About the Composer: Tyler S Grant

Tyler S Grant has built a reputation as a sought-after composer and arranger whose concert band music appears regularly on honor ensemble programs and curated repertoire lists across North America and internationally. His fanfare *Panoramic Fanfare* won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 competition and has since been performed by collegiate and professional ensembles throughout the continent. Since 2010, he has maintained a steady output of commissions and new publications while also serving as a clinician; his work has been featured at venues including Carnegie Hall, The Midwest Clinic, and the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Beyond composition, Grant brings conducting and educational expertise to his craft. He has worked as a clinician with over 100 school programs across more than 15 states, contributed to Alfred Music's curriculum series, and regularly conducts all-state bands. A University of Alabama graduate who studied instrumental music education and conducting with Randall Coleman, Grant credits mentor Brian Balmages as essential to his development as a composer.
