About the Composer: Tyler S Grant

Tyler S. Grant brings a distinctive voice to concert band and orchestral music at all levels. His compositions appear regularly on regional and all-state honor ensemble programs, and his works consistently earn recognition on international editors' and publishers' choice repertoire lists. His fanfare Panoramic Fanfare won the Dallas Wind Symphony's 2014 "Call for Fanfares" Competition and has since been performed by collegiate and professional ensembles across North America.

Beyond the concert hall, Grant maintains an active conducting and clinician schedule, having worked with over 100 school instrumental music programs across more than 15 states. He has contributed to Alfred Music's Sound Innovations: Ensemble Development series and regularly accepts commissions for new works each year. Grant earned his bachelor's degree in instrumental music education from the University of Alabama, where he studied conducting with Professor Randall Coleman, and credits composer Brian Balmages as instrumental to his development as a musician.
