About the Arranger: Sally K. Albrecht
Sally K. Albrecht has shaped American choral education for over four decades through her work as a composer, conductor, and publisher. Her catalog exceeds 600 choral publications alongside 75 larger works for stage and concert, earning her annual ASCAP recognition since 1987. She spent more than thirty years directing school choral and vocal publications at major educational music houses, most recently at Alfred Music, while also conducting honor choirs at prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and The Kennedy Center.
Albrecht holds degrees from Rollins College (B.A. in Music and Theater, 1976) and the University of Miami (M.A. in Drama, 1977; M.M. in Accompanying, 1979). She has taught at Oakland University, Jersey City State College, and Meredith College. Recognized as a leader in her field, she served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and received their "Pillar of Leadership" award. In 2021, both the University of Miami Frost School of Music and Rollins College honored her with Distinguished Alumna Awards.
