About the Arranger: Todd Stalter

Todd Stalter spent 34 years leading the band program at Eureka High School in Eureka, Illinois, where he established a statewide reputation for musical excellence. His marching band won 16 Class 1A state championships, his concert band consistently earned superior ratings at IHSA contests, and his ensembles performed at Orchestra Hall in Chicago and Walt Disney World, earning festival championships at the Cotton and Liberty Bowls. He was inducted into the Illinois State Marching Band Championships Hall of Fame.

As a conductor and clinician, Stalter has led All-State Bands in Georgia and Delaware, numerous honor and district bands across the region, and appeared with professional ensembles including the Rockford Wind Ensemble and Bloomington Community Band. His compositions and arrangements for band and string orchestra are performed worldwide and appear regularly on state contest and festival lists. Several of his works are featured in the "Teaching Music Through Performance in Band" series published by GIA. Stalter holds a Bachelor of Music Education (cum laude) and Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Illinois State University, where he studied trumpet with Richard Lehman of the United States Marine Band and conducting with Dr. Stephen K. Steele.
