About the Composer: Neridah Oostenbroek

Neridah Oostenbroek brings more than two decades of string teaching and music education experience from Brisbane, Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Music and Diploma of Secondary Education, and later earned a Master of Philosophy in Violin Performance from the University of Queensland under the mentorship of Spiros Rantos.

Beyond the classroom, Oostenbroek maintains an active career as a freelance violinist with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Queensland Pops Orchestra, and chamber ensembles, while also serving as a piano accompanist for music and ballet examinations. Her work as a conductor, adjudicator, and festival clinician has made her a trusted voice across the Australian music education landscape.
