About the Arranger: Jack Zaino
Jack Zaino has built a career bridging classical choral training with contemporary music sensibility. Based in New England, he combines his work as a choral editor and clinician at Alfred Music with active participation in the Connecticut choral community, where he won the Connecticut ACDA Young Choral Director Award in 2020. His educational foundation, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut and dual undergraduate degrees in Voice and Music Education, informs his approach to both teaching and arranging.
Zaino's published arrangements showcase his gift for finding musicality in popular styles, with credits ranging from Kacey Musgraves to Lizzo. He serves as composition chair for Connecticut ACDA's repertoire committee and on the programming committee for Consonare Choral Community, where he continues to champion singing as a vehicle for community connection.
