Vince Gassi holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario and studied composition and arranging at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. He earned his Ph.D. in music from York University in Toronto. With more than 100 published works to his name since 2006, Gassi has established himself as a prolific voice in music education, blending creative ambition with accessibility for student ensembles.

Gassi spent twenty-five years teaching instrumental music at the elementary and secondary levels and remains active as a guest conductor, adjudicator, and clinician across the United States and Canada. His seminars on creative engagement and digital workflows for music directors reflect his commitment to helping educators innovate in the classroom.
